What this site is about |
|
|
|
This website is dedicated first
and foremost to the collectors, historians, restorers but also to
the general enthusiasts. The site deals with the history of motor
vehicles, e. g. automobiles, motorcycles, buses and trucks of all
eras (veteran, vintage, classic, more recent models). Every
variants of the oldtimers has also its place, such as ambulances,
firefighting vehicles, motorcoaches, taxis, sidecars, pickups, vans,
suvs, police vehicles, racing cars, and so on. The
expressions 'automotive history' and 'motorization' also refer
to motor sports (automobile , motorcycle, and truck racing,
rallying, sprinting, hillclimbing), to the manufacturing and
transport industries (including advertising, work relations, etc.).
Other themes have also their place, such as the history of tires, of
the roads, the related service industries like filling or service
stations. |
